Attempt #999999 at reviving my neocities blog/Updates Post
I have written some kind of post like this, uh, many times, but now I have a lot of stuff coming out and Actively in the works, here's an update post!
In no particular order, here's some stuff I've done:
Wiccette:
This is my big flagship work that I spent basically all of last year working on!
"Kate’s been thrown out of the Goddess of Transfemininity’s graces, and denied the means to continue her transition, so when she stumbles across witches—the scales upon which magic and humanity are balanced—she jumps at the chance to take her transition into her own hands.Balancing more than just magic, Kate has to contend with what it really means to be a witch, fitting into an order of women who have spent generations settling into their ideas of the world, and the costs they pay for their power.
And, years after becoming a successful witch, Kate returns to the Goddess, only to find her under siege as the Goddess and her newest Maiden, Kate’s replacement, struggle with transforming the heir to a local Lordship, and the lord wants his child returned, no matter the cost."
Wiccette is my ongoing* web-novel! Transgender witches fighting for their right to determine their own destinies. There's 70,000 words as of writing this: a nearly novel length part one, called Maidens. The second part, The Witches Mill, will hopefully begin sometime this fall.
You can read Wiccette on:
Cursed Swords
A short story! Just 1.5 thousand words, about a swordswoman whose lover's soul resides in her sword. The soul yearns for eternal battle, but the swordswoman's body is beginning to fail her.
This one's been really well received, huge thank you to everyone who's enjoyed and shared it.

PRINCESS/REBEL/MAID
A new serial!
"Edel works to clean an empty castle. A summer estate for a royal family that hasn't visited in a generation. But when war threatens the capital city, a princess is sent out to stay in that forgotten castle. With the princess, a whole new host of problems are foisted onto Edel. Chief among which is the strange rebel girl who wants her to assassinate the princess."
I'm putting my foot down (stomping it you might say) about this being a side project. Short chapters, easy editing, fun story! Writing for when I get tired of writing!

It's Good to be the Hero/Ride, You (Title TBD)
Technically, you can't read this one yet, but it's very Real in a way that makes me feel comfortable putting it on this list.
"Sickness ravages your home, and your people need a cure. The wilderness around you corrupts any who linger within it, turns their minds to stories and keeps them forever. You've been forcefully given a story and a role, the Hero, one which might keep you sane long enough to save everyone but yourself. Except, there is no wool over your eyes, no soft drifting of your mind. You can feel every minute, and the Hero's haunting you more than corrupting you, a second voice in your head pulling you ever deeper into the story."
A novella length story about identities, social roles, gender, and lesbian riverside threesomes.
Expect it in the next few months. More firm date coming soon.
